My Pool fence has turned out better than I hoped and the team were so helpful in getting my sizing and requirements absolutely right.
Each panel was individually packed and covered so there was no chance of damage during the delivery, which was an unexpected bonus.
Finally, the finish on each panel is exquisite and shows the care in the process. It has transformed a previously enclosed pool area to one where the wider world is visible and can now be enjoyed. Thank you.

Our corten panels with gum leaf design are stunning. They arrived well-packed in great condition. They will be a fantastic feature in our garden as they rust and match existing corten structures.

We recently engaged Decoview to create 3x2.7m pool panels for our new Deck. Lisa and the team at Decoview were wonderful to deal with. Very professional and responsive. The panel design they came up with was excellent and we are very pleased with the quality of the product and the results, as are our neighbours who can also see the panels/deck. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very happy with my replacement pool fence and pool panel. We needed to replace our pool gate after the existing glass gate fell from the pivot, smashing and injuring my child. We will never go back to a glass gate again. This was the perfect solution for us. We also opted to add in a panel to finish off the area nicely.

Exceptional customer service and a fantastic product. We took a leap of faith and chose to go with Decoview/Pool Perf fencing for our pool, completely sight unseen. We are in a regional area with a view and didn't want the pool fencing to obstruct it - glass would have been the obvious choice, but we didn't want to have to constantly clean it being on a dusty rural property, and we were also concerned about birds flying into it and injuring themselves (or worse), which happened surprisingly often with the glass pool fencing at our previous home. The Pool Perf fencing felt like the perfect solution, it blends beautifully into the background and you can see right through it, even through the corners when you are looking through two panels. We were also required to use balustrade grade fencing on one side of our pool as it's quite high off the ground, and Balustrade Perf was ideal to satisfy those requirements while blending in perfectly with the Pool Perf for the rest of the fencing - you would never know they are technically two different specifications. Our panels arrived in good time and very well packaged. Installation was straightforward and our builder was able to do it almost completely on his own, with only a spare pair of hands to set the longest couple of panels in place. Lastly, we had a very particular building surveyor who decided we needed to add hinge safety caps on the pool gate - we contacted Decoview to ensure we got the correct ones, and they responded immediately and had them shipped out straight away. Unfortunately there were some issues with the courier, but Decoview was all over it the minute we advised them, going well above and beyond to track down the shipment and get the hinge caps to us even though they are a small and inexpensive product. Enormous thanks to Grace for answering all our questions during the planning process, Matt for keeping us up to date during production and Lola for her wonderful after-sale service and huge efforts to get the hinge caps to us. We would gladly recommend Decoview again and again!

This is a high end product- visually stunning.
The quality is amazing, the service is great.
The after sales service and advice was helpful and easy to access.
The delivery was fast - sent from QLD on a Friday and was delivered on the following Tuesday to central coast NSW.
It was extremely well packaged with protective covers over every piece of the fence panel, all nuts, bolts and screws labeled accordingly.
This made for an easy and seamless installation for an average handyman.
The result is breathtaking, needless to say we are extremely happy with the end result.
Thank you to Andre and the entire Decoview/Pool Perf team.

We live coastal, so added to the salt in the pool, I was concerned about using a glass fence around our new pool. When I came across Decoview and Pool Perf I thought it looked like a great idea. The fencing arrived last week and I installed myself over the weekend. Pretty easy to do with some basic handy man skills and tools.
The fence and gate look fantastic, you can see through into the pool as easily as a glass fence, the view is literally unobstructed. I believe a glass fence would look fantastic the day it was installed, but never look that good again, irrespective of how you treat it, whereas I expect Pool Perf will look as good with minimal effort to maintain it for years to come. We are very happy with our purchase.

Considering glass or perf.

Absolutely no regrets for us. Love it, only wish we did it earlier! Had glass previously and it always needed cleaning, if sitting on the other side of fence it was harder to be heard in the pool without standing to talk over the glass and no breeze passed through the glass..

The glass alternative, in their words

So glad
we didn’t go glass.

Many of these owners had glass at their last house, or still have a run of it. They are the ones who can compare. Read what they say about fog, streaks, dog noses, cleaning and panels that shatter, then read why PoolPerf® is the glass alternative.

Even though it’s more expensive short term in the long run you save $$. We had 3 glass panels shatter at different times so removed glass and had pool perf installed instead. Don’t regret making the change was the best thing we have done.

Ruth NittoPool Owners Australia group · 2024

Absolutely love our pool perf! I love how it looks, I can see through it from inside my kitchen. No matter what anyone says, glass will always need cleaning and there’s a chance of spontaneous shattering.

Jill RyanPool Owners Australia group · 2024

I got two quotes. The PoolPerf was more expensive than glass, but I figured it will last forever. Plus I’m lazy and couldn’t see myself out there with a squeegee and windex every day. No regrets. I love it.

Karen SellengerPool Owners Australia group · 2024

We went with pool perf and honestly have not been happier. It's so easy to maintain long lasting and still have privacy with airflow but also visibility so perfect for us. It looks super modern without having to clean glass or worrying about it smashing for any reason.

Jo BoPool Owners Australia group · 2025

Why on earth would anyone get glass? We got lucky, our pool fence guy, had never done pool perf. Did it for the same price as glass, as long as he could use it to advertise for his business. That was 3 years ago.

Pete MellorsPool Owners Australia group · 2024

Kurt Haines hey mate it’s expensive but and it’s more expensive than glass yes but. I got kids and teenagers mate and glass panels are 70kg plus and still naturally shattered with weather changes. Meet the Boss

Low maintenance

Summers you spend in the pool.
Not cleaning it!

This is the thing owners bring up more than anything else. Rain does most of the work. A hose does the rest. Jo has not cleaned hers in three years, and she posted the photo to prove it.

We replaced our glass fence with Pool Perf three years ago and have not looked back. I think a factor to consider is how fussy you are with the look of your glass. Even small streaks, sunscreen smears, water droplets etc used to drive me crazy so for us we were cleaning our pool glass every other week. We have 13m fencing and used to clean both sides - it was quite the job. We have not cleaned our Pool Perf once in 3 years, the rain takes care of it - this is our never cleaned fence
It also shows you how transparent Pool Perf is. But at the end of the day, it will all come down to personal preference. Good luck with your decision

Yeah i hate ours too awful stuff. All that spare time i have not having to maintain and clean my fence not to mention the money I'm saving on cleaning products and maintenance is terrible. Definitely do not recommend. (tongue-in-cheek reply on the 'miserable Pool Perf customer' post)

Tracy is joking. She posted this under a PoolPerf® post titled “another miserable Pool Perf customer”.

Visibility

“You can see
straight through it.”

The question we get asked most is whether you can see the pool through it. Sixty-three percent of every panel is open air. Here is how that works out in a real backyard, from the people watching their kids through it.

Melissa Clark’s PoolPerf pool fence, photographed by Melissa and posted on Facebook — Photographed and posted on Facebook by Melissa Clark

visibility is great… can see through it at all angles. We loved it so much we enclosed our deck with it too. So easy to sit there and see the kids in the yard. Never had to move my position due to not being able to see through the perf.

Thanks again for a fantastic option without the daily cleaning. What a view from our patio to our pool 💜😊👍

Tammie Van DiestPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2023

The white does look good! We went with Ironstone, which I really like. Not as harsh as the black, it's quite a soft colour. At times even looks transparent on some angles depending where the sun is.

Sorry it’s dark out! We also have pool perf and my ex-aluminium fencing hubby is impressed with their system and quality. It’s worth checking out the density of each pattern as some allow for more view. It is great stuff.

Kate HardwickPool Owners Australia group · 2025

Pool Perf & Perforated Balustrading that’s why Pool Perf was the perfect choice as don’t want to obscure the view. And no cleaning 😁

Elaine MuirPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2026

“What we do have is 2 hours back each week that I used to spend trying to keep the glass fence clean.” Jo Bo, on Facebook.

Airflow

The breeze
gets through.

A glass fence turns a pool yard into a hot box. Every PoolPerf® panel lets the air through, and on a 40 degree day that is the difference between using the pool and hiding inside.

I chose pool perf over glass due to heat, cleaning and safety when mowing next to it! If I did glass I would have had a hot box of an area! I LOVE it!

Shannon CridlandPool Owners Australia group · 2023

Great fence glad we got it. Been 40c here in SA, imagine a glass fence trapping in all that heat.

Pete MellorsPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2021

glass I’m not a massive fan of, especially all 4 sides as there is no air flow and the pool area is like an oven on a hot day. Pool Perf is a relatively new product so still quite expensive but is a very solid and well made product from what I’ve seen.

Emily HoldenPool Owners Australia group · 2023

You spend big cash on pool why not spend big on pool perf We did and it was
a no brainer Maintenance free Beautiful air flow on hot days Looks aesthetically amazing passes compliance with flying colours WIN WIN

Terri MournellisPool Owners Australia group · 2024

it’s been absolutely fine , it’s fully perforated . We used normal fencing on the far side to cut costs

Cherie Anne PearsePool Owners Australia group · 2023

… Installed ourselves. Good for airflow and no cleaning

Kylie AbbeyPool Owners Australia group · 2023

Seen this product around and it's beautiful! Air flow and the aesthetic look is wonderful, still makes the place look roomy. With glass I notice a build up and you have to clean it often, this type of fencing is low maintenance!

Krystal RosePoolPerf® on Facebook · 2026

Safety and strength

Kids, dogs, basketballs
and the mower.

A pool fence has one job before any other: keep small children away from the water. Owners also notice what it shrugs off. Storms. Balls. Rocks off the mower. Years of sun. See why families choose PoolPerf®.

I would recommend black pool perf fencing. It’s so durable, can withstand storms, won’t randomly explode like glass, won’t cause a fire on dry grass, can withstand rocks and flung bits of sticks from mowing, has amazing visibility, doesn’t add extra maintenance and cleaning and allows airflow! Could also add a nice cantilever umbrella for when you are in and using pool area for some shade Some chairs and a small table, some lounges and even a cabana/pergola.

Alana CassarPool Owners Australia group · 2026

We also have a basketball court just off the area and it’s so good because the balls bounce up against the fence and I don’t have a care in the world

Nicole Chole StevensPool Owners Australia group · 2025

Bri DeePoolPerf® on Facebook · 2025

Fiona FosterPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2026

Daryl BancroftPool Owners Australia group · 2023

we have just had Pool Perf installed and although it's expensive, it's extremely study! I don't think we will ever need to replace it, it will certainly last forever I would say lol

Leah KingPool Owners Australia group · 2023

ours passed with no concerns at all, a few months ago 👍 great product, looks amazing and stays clean

Kylie MeneillyPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2022

… I also have 2 dogs so glass was not an option.

Leanne BaildonPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2020

… one of the considerations for us was that we have an 8 year old boy who is ball sports mad …

Claire HowdenPool Owners Australia group · 2023

poof perf is a different style of fencing made up of little holes. It’s compliant, very durable gives privacy but also allows light through. It won’t explode like glass or need cleaning like glass. It is considered a premium product so isn’t cheap but considering the cost of a pool build, pool perf is a quality product,

Linda LangtonPool Owners Australia group · 2025

Love ours! Best decision we ever made. Well wroth the extra money for peace of mind 😌

Tracy De BoniPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2024

Tubular is the cheapest option. , then glass then Pool Perf. But keep in mind Pool Perf products out preforms the other two materials buy a long way. You can not compare the three

Pool perf. If you are bush you’ll have lots of birds. Glass will be no good as the birds will fly into it

Linda LangtonPool Owners Australia group · 2025

Linda LangtonPoolPerf® on Facebook · 2024

Very solid and nice looking fence from the ones I’ve seen. Really great product.

Emily HoldenPool Owners Australia group · 2023

Worth it

“Worth
every cent.”

Owners are upfront that PoolPerf® costs more than glass. They are just as upfront about why they would pay it again. You buy a pool fence once.

we have pool perf fencing, it's worth every cent!

Renee RussellPool Owners Australia group · 2024

Yep another pool Perf all the way here. Pay the extra and do it as you won’t regret it

Ross KuhnPool Owners Australia group · 2023

I wasn't sure when I ordered it as I had only seen it online. I chose pool perf as I have been told by a lot of people that glass is hard to keep clean. It looks really good and love the finished product even tho it was twice the price. Just remember you only do it once

Desmond Van Der LaanPool Owners Australia group · 2022

Pool Perf by Decoview is bloody amazing, might be a little bit more costly than glass but like the above people mentioned, it is a long term investment. It’s also way easier to clean and maintain than glass

Two ways to get one

Did it themselves.
Had it done.

Some owners measured, ordered from the factory and put it up on a weekend. Some had a professional installer do the whole job. Both ended up in the same place: very happy. Which path is right for you?

Put it up themselves

I did an owner build of a new pool fence on a challenging landscape using the Decoview Pool Perf Channel Fit fencing. I was more than happy with the quality of the product, the customer service and the rigorous process to ensure I got exactly what the job required. The result is a beautiful and sturdy pool fence. Thanks Decoview, I would happily recommend you products and services to anyone building a pool barrier.

Thank you.

I simply can’t recommend Decoview highly enough. The exceptional attention from beginning to end is not experienced anymore and should be an example of how business should be. I am extremely fussy and have tested every little corner of Decoview and I am not disappointed because even when things did go wrong they came through even when it was not their fault. I wish to give a special recommendation to Lola ……whom went above and beyond. Thank you Decoview and team.

Other than gate lock which I put on wrong side. Left 2 holes unfortunately where screws were. One aspect I’d suggest you change on longest side, in particulate, is make to top rail a little sturdier. At present it wobbles and it’s quite a drop to the ground.

HI Grace,
I was pretty impressed with your professionalism and would recommend to others. Everything arrived undamaged and on time, and all parts individually wrapped to avoid vibration damage to panels. Pretty easy to assemble as per instructions. I am a bit handy and managed to put the 3 panels plus gate up in 2 days. A pro would probably do it in one. I opted for base plate with anchor bolts, which was a mistake on my part. I had to drill through 20mm granite tiles. Core drilling would have been better. My only criticism would be the bolts to the underside of base plate for gate post were a bit small or not a very high strength grade steel, because I snapped 2 with a rattle gun. All in all, looks great.

Very professional company and staff. From design to implementation to fabrication & delivery...............first class.
Laura provided constant communication with sales, then manufacturing of the screens to delivery of same.
Packaging of the screens, on a wooden pallet, the screens were individually wrapped in blankets some would be happy to have on their beds, then wrapped with plastic & strapped to pallet. Any damage would have had to have been on you or the delivery people did not top load as the signage said.
A very good product & company to deal with.

Because we didn't want to have to deal with the endless cleaning of our existing glass pool fence we were looking for a low maintenance product that would not dominate the view and make the area appear smaller.
Due to COVID restrictions we were unable to view the Pool Perf in person but the helpful team at Decoview were very responsive to our many questions and requests for additional information and videos. The design plans and components details were great and changes were actioned quickly.
The fence arrived sooner than expected and we were very impressed with how well it was packaged.
Installation was easy thanks to the advice and the online video’s (and could probably be undertaken by someone with limited construction experience).
We are very happy with the entire process and the end result and would definitely recommend Decoview and the Pool perf product.

We approached Decoview to supply decorative screens for our recent renovations and pool area build. They were a pleasure to deal with and communicated clearly throughout the process.
The screens were delivered to site for a very reasonable fee and we were super impressed with the quality of protective packaging. Unsurprisingly the screens were in perfect condition and mm accurate in dimensions.
We are now planning where else we can incorporate their excellent custom screens!

Lisa and the team at Decoview were fantastic, all my emails were answered quickly and with great detail, they made the decision to go with Decoview easy as I was a bit apprehensive to order online and get a product delivered to SA without seeing it, but it was delivered exactly when it was meant to be and packaged with great care, we haven't install the fence yet but I'm sure it will be great and then I will send pics, thanks again Mel

Really happy with the service and product. Considering most of the service was over the phone and email, the care and attention to detail was still there, and this was shown with the delivery of the actual balustrade. The fit, measurement, quality and design was spot on!

Jay and the team at Decoview did a fantastic job helping me to arrange my balcony balustrade.
The level of detail in the product is fantastic with every detail considered.
All parts required right down to the nuts and bolts were supplied with the balustrade and a custom hand rail was made to finish it of perfectly.
I was also very happy with the price.

The screen is wonderful and is the centrepiece of my new home. The estimated time for manufacture was spot-on. Delivery was prompt and it was very well wrapped. I like the textured finish and lack of sharp edges. Thank you to the friendly team I dealt with. I am thrilled with the design achieved ... exactly what I wanted. Everyone who comes here comments on how good it looks. It also casts some interesting shadows with different lighting conditions. I love it! I would however, have appreciated fixing screws to be provided.
Thankyou.

I went to Decoview after returning other screens twice due to deterioration and bubbling after only a few months. I have purchsed from Decoview twice now and totally satisfied with the design process, delivery, product and after sales service. The screens the first time were of such high quality and looked so good we found a spot to put another screen which looks great as well. We get so many great comments and it has really made the outdoor area look great. I would highly recommend Decoview to anyone.

We purchased a custom screen from decoview to replace a gap in our front rendered fence.
We had an existing tralice that was dated an messy and wanted something modern and warm to update the entry to our home.
Decoview were very flexible to our requests, and custom made a screen that catered to our needs of both privacy and compliance within our body corporate.
We would highly recommend decoview to friends and family, or anyone looking for quality service or quality product.

The product is great.
The colour is not what we ordered but we were refunded a small amount in compensation.
The initial quote stated 4 weeks- it took more than 8 weeks ( including Christmas).
There was a lot of back and forward emailing for shipping to be organised ( quoted 4 days. It took 10 day).
Besides all that, the product is great.

New home purchase with pool required a pool fence with a difference. I didn’t want a glass pool fence for the area that we have. Cleaning and maintenance being a factor. Jay and the team took care of everything and communication was key in organising a timely install. My only observation is that Jay is going to need a bigger sales team as I feel the Pool Perf system is only going to get more popular.
